Hello ladies and gentlemen, a couple of weeks ago I have started construction of my latest carboard model, the JSC Simara Ace.
While this is a very nice looking ship, it strikes me that I can hardly any completed buildthreads, which is not very motivating.
Yet, I had the kit, the LC frames and LC details in my stash, so I began the journey...
For size comparison, the frame is next to my recently finished Alexander Arbuthnot in the same scale !
Staircases are a nice feature on this model instead of the generic slopes :

At the bow, I made my first mistake ; the tabs should have been UNDER the next tier, it isn't a bad mistake though.
Next step was to start applying the ship's skin, an intimitading part of the built if you're not used to it :
