I would like to share my new recolored and edited Scissors & Planes 1/100 scale F-15A Eagle Bundle.
The two model templates bears the markings of the two actual F-15As that were used for the “Anti-Satellite” trials between 1984-1988:
* Serial no. 76-0084, named the “Celestial Eagle”, flown by Maj. Wilbert “Doug” Pearson when he successfully destroys the Solwind P78-1 satellite when he fired an armed ASM-135 missile at 38,100 feet on September 13, 1985.
* Serial no. 76-0086, flown by Maj. Ralph Filburn, who successfully launched an Inert ASM-135 missile towards the outer space on January 21, 1984
*The templates for serial no.76-0084 includes an inert and live/armed ASM-135 missiles
*The templates for serial no.76-0086 only includes an inert ASM-135 missile
