The base is finished.
I had a dilemma what to use: paint/crayons to imitate rust along the rails. I chose crayons and I don't regret it, because I doubt that I would get the same with paints. I didn't have a crayon of the right color so I had to mix three others.

I stained the "crushed stone" in the middle part between the sleepers with a very dark brown crayon. I also used the same dark brown crayon over the sleepers in the middle part, and I colored the "crushed stone" on the sides of the track slightly lighter brown.

I also planted grass. It was my first time doing it, but it turned out nice.

Finally, metalizer on the rails and it's done.

Now all that's left to do is a polycarbonate case and some figures.
