Moar challenges!!1!

Prompted by Draco's thread, here are some additions and updates to the wish list:
  • Boeing XB-15, ~1/175 scale: What a beast! The way it looks gives an impression of, "We don't really know what we're doing yet, but we made this giant plane." On the real thing, the wings were repurposed for the 314 Clipper, so an XB-15 model plan could be a mod of Yankee Kilo's Clipper plan or of Gary Pilsworth's.
    Aircraft challenge: VVA-14, SM-64 (X-10), YF-23, ...-screenshot-2024-01-11-11.56.35-pm.png
  • Rockwell XFV-12A, ~1/72 scale: Though it never flew and was never going to come close to its promised performance specs, it did exist, and it was wild-looking.

  • Boeing BWB-450 blended wing-body concept, ~1/288 scale: Picked up by Boeing from McDonnell Douglas via the merger, to me this configuration from the late 1990s/early 2000s is the most visually appealing of the BWB designs to date.

  • Sikorsky MH-53E Pave Low and CH-53E Super Stallion, ~1/144 scale: Just love these burly choppers. This would be for static models rather than flight conversion, of course. Looking for something with a little more going on than the S&P 1/300 plans.
  • Aero Spacelines 377-SGT Super Guppy, ~1/288 scale (update): This could be a mod of Murph's Pregnant Guppy, with the expanded cargo bay, big ol' wing root fairings, and turboprops.
  • Rutan Model 10 Voyager, ~1/96 scale (update): Don't think the Oddball Productions version is coming back, and besides, a more refined rendition of the tapering fuselages would be pretty cool.
Challenges withdrawn because they already exist:
