When I saw them in 1975, the flying saucer had not arrived yet. If I am correct, that "landed" sometime in 1977 (or 1978).


Addendum: After posting the above, I became curious and did a search. Found this on the web:

The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) made a memorable entrance with their flying saucer during their 1978 tour. On September 7, 1978, this extraterrestrial-looking craft touched down at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum in Tennessee, carrying the band in style!
WBIR was there to report on the ELO tour and the assembly of the saucer. It was a moment that blended music and sci-fi in a way that left fans both amazed and grooving to the tunes.
