Sure, Micheal, overhead slides are transparent sheets (size A4) on which you can print with either a laserprinter or a copier. This is the sheet I printed the railings on :

To be honest, I don't even know if you can still buy those, I mean they are so previous century technology.

This used to be the machine they were intented to be used on, the overhead projector, so "80's in the previous century :


All this has been replaced by the beamer however, no need for slides anymore, you connect it directly with or without cable to either your smartphone or your computer and everybody can see the projection on the wall...


Ofcourse when your boardroom isn't that huge, it might be better to use a smartboard, which is a board you can write on with whiteboard markers, but that also functions as a touchscreen.


I'm a bit surprised that people in other countries may not have been aware of this already fading technology though.
