based on both geli models which are almost exclusely shinny metal print and an older fly model sabre I would say the dull offset worked the same as regular card stock. No issues with rolling or gluing. The shiney Geli metal print was some times a PIA "challenge" as my wife would say. On actual natural metal aircraft, unless the crew was polishing the thing to a shiney finish most military planes were dullish with a few ,very few shinet parts.
