Good work on the RAS-1 and its detailed engine. You seem to be assembling the wings by eye without using a jig.
Because I have been reading about this history of Pan American Airlines, the configuration of these flying boats puts me in mind of the Benoist XIV, which in 1914 began flying passengers beween St Petersburg and Tampa, Florida, and is said to be the first commercial air pasenger service in the United States (R.E.G. Davis claims it was the first scheduled airline in the world, Pan Am: An Airline and its Aircraft, London: Hamlyn Publishing, 1987, p. 2).
