I started with plastic models too, and still have a few lying around in various stages of assembly. I started "officially" working with paper/card models about a year ago, and I'm always impressed with what can be made with it. So enjoy your adventure with paper, and show off those dioramas when you have the chance. We'd love to see them!
Oh, and we don't get angry here, just jealous.
