The classic Lenshead robots
Here are a 2 pics of a trio of Lenshead 'bots in my collection. The first is an 11 inch "RB TYPE", possibly my favorite of the series(bottom right), a "prototype2" blue (my ink was messed-up) prototype in the background, and to the left a 26 inch version with chrome foil paper additions.

They look really good. You did a great job on them.
I am wondering though, if it would be possible to make them into working cameras? Maybe use them as webcams or even "NANYCAMS".

Great idea, and easy to accommodate because the cameras are soooo tiny.

Wow, those are big! A few stepper motors and some BASIC stamp cards, you get program some interesting movements. Add a couple of cameras and you could get some big bucks. They really are awesome.

I'd share the patterns for my 25 and 30 inch versions, but I don't think the author would like it.
Oh, as for an animated version, I envisioned strings, tubes and wheels inside to move the joints. Wouldn't last long, though. Paper just isn't strong enough. |
