I'm working on your Akira and Nova Class, but I'm going to have to build it first and do the directions so that no one whines about it not being buildable. It is on track. I just go to other things when I feel like punching my monitor.

I've just learned to texture m3d models, so I went back and started playing with some of the models from Laz's mod for Star Trek Voyager Elite Force, so I should have some really cool, yet simple TOS models soon. I started playing with Building 4 first, so that I can texture it and put it out as a .pdf.

I lost a lot of work through those cursed Windows update-inspired automatic reboots - hunted out the settings and made the installation manual so it would happen on MY schedule...

Well, I need to know how to do that. I'd like to lock out Windows Live and several other auto updaters. I think people should have the right to know what the hell is going on with their own computer and have some friggen control over the thing.

Depends on what version of windows you have.
I use xp Pro/Media.
I click on 'Start'Control Panel-Security-Win Updates'
From there I can select Auto; Download-but let me when to install;
Notify me of updates, but don't download yet; or Turn Off Auto download
You Will get a Constant security error about that though.

I get the pop up asking if I want to reboot Now, or wait.

I've made some progress on several models and thought I would update this thread. The Dreanaught isn't done yet, but it's close. I'm working on totally retexturing Building 4 from Starbase 11. I've got an awesome tug from Laz's mod that I'm texturing and have a couple of simple models in the works that I'm going to batch into one zip......

The tug looks good.

I gave up on PC. It was costing too much in virus, spyware, malware, and what-ever-ware that seemed to be required to keep it running, and the updating became a type of dating I chose to avoid!

Yeah, well.... I had this special ordered and special built. However, I have told my wife... "I will NEVER buy a PC again.. Such is life.
