That TOS Enterprise is really gonna be great when it's done. There are going to be a lot of jealous people wishing they could get their hands on one just like it. The attention to detail and all your corrections and custum parts look absolutly amazing. Hell I wish I could get one lol!
Keep up the great work and post more updates when you can. Smile and keep on trekkin' my friend...

Thank you. I just pulled it out of the mold today and I'm going to decorate it up and give it the real TOS treatment. Here's the new electronics video... Watch the whole thing. The very next thing will be the Cylon.... Sci-Fi Prop and Model Electronics 4.7 - YouTube |

Neptune,
For mold release, you can use a product called 'Butchers Wax'- I used it years ago in the toy industry. It's a woodworkers finish if I remember correctly, kinda has the consistency of shoe polish, but can be thinned down and brushed on. Great for releasing porous materials. And to release castings from rubber molds, try dumping in some talcum powder, brush it around and then dump out the excess, so you're left with a fine dusting. Works great with silicone molds, and urethane castings. Hope this is helpful! Experiment with something crappy, just in case it doesn't work with the particular materials you are using. Mike |

Kind off, except there's a wide variety of different effects you can come up with, the other circuits are the ones that I built on a breadboard.

No prob. If you ever want to try a nice RTV, GI-1000 by Palmer Tooling Supply is a reliable silicone, I've been using it for about 25 years, and it's never let me down, along with Alumilite casting resin. I keep it simple, and have good luck with this combo, as well as a couple of casting urethanes from Smooth-on. The talcum powder -release trick works great with this stuff. Let me know if you would like contact info for this, anytime.
