yeah yer right, I will make the cruiser. I really don't like them, they look like the fantasti car with star trek nacelles. I would imagine a foreign race of lizards wouldn't make ships that resemble the federation.
is there a reason for that? like camouflauge? or help from another race? |

in the SFB universe the Gorn are very close allies with the Federation and even have a limited tech exchange

gorn heavy cruiser-1,2
I don't know anything about it, I suppose I should find out, but I need to search the game. is it a video game? or a club game?
here is the first page, print it twice, and the middle hull and lettering should be done soon. |

what about these? These are the ADB/Star Fleet Battles Gorn ships, and I love the TOS styling......Ooops. posted already. Sorry. I sure appreciate your work, thank you!
The saucer styling is intentionally reminiscent of the Federation because the Gorn themselves are a peaceful, democratic race with many similarities to the Federation's Philosophy, and the designers wanted to emphasize that. They are neighbors of the Romulans, and in constant tension with Romulan Expansionism. Both inhabit sparse-world regions with few resources compared to Federation Space, and the Gorn don't have nearly as many races in thier government. |

Star Fleet battles is a pen and paper wargame with roots in the 70s. Star Fleet Battle Manual was it's ancestor - and the whole game is very much based on the original Technical Manual by Franz Joseph, it's actually quite challenging to play, and fun. It has a roleplaying game adjunct called "Prime Directive" that's still being supported. It's a simulation game with a complex and elegant engine, pre-computer age. Only downfall is it's pretty much 2-dimensional...should have had a third dimension element like ICE's space wargame.
