I thought the FASA ships looked so much more detailed and realistic, across the board.

I liked the SFBs, but FASA was so careful in their designs.

to me the FASA Gorn ships were just big boxes with tiny engines.... plus i just didnt like the FASA game much because it left out alot of ship classes whereas SFB was more comprehinsive and had more different ships giving you a better variety

I just don't like the post TOS era star trek much at all, and SFB offered a really fascinating political situation. and even some solo games.

I preferred the look of the FASA ships as they made each species tech distinct.
