Sulaco 1:430 scale
Hi fellows,
since December 2010 I'm building Jan Rukr's amazing 1:430 SULACO papermodel (sulaco), and I thought it is time to share some pictures, now that I finished the bow section. The antennas are all strengthend with carbon profiles, so they won't bent over time. Here we go: Meanwhile I started the middle section. I LOVE this papermodel!

I'm glad that this thread/topic resurfaced. I think this is paper modeling at it's greatest potential. This kind of model shows just how great the return on imagination vs the investment of materials paper modeling gives. Bravo!

Brilliant work, this is definately on my list of to build models, I am however waiting for the whole thing to done and will be finishing up some of my own projects in the interim.

This project is still alive!
Last weekend I finished the "hunchback". In the next days I will mount the side arms with large magnetic films, and then I will do the final touches by adding the last small parts. Here are some pictures of my progress: Group-picture "middle hull plus bow". The engine and side arms are missing because they were not necessary to mount the hunchback parts:
