as far as ''rounding out'' the parts, just join each sub assembly and ''mash'' them until they are rounded out.
use something like a blunted stick, pen end or even a rubber pencil eraser to mash the inside with, styrofoam makes a good pressing board to mash the seams against. and also have a hard rubber prod to mash and form from the outside with the prod on the inside to mash against. find a convenient spot on the model to slit and finish off the mashing and then just seal the slit to finish. jim |

thank you, i just woke up and i guess i am waiting for a 1st mate ina cave to scale the cliff too, the kong model is about 6'' tall and scaled to 20 feet .
a little plastic army man is about the right size at just under 2'' tall. and i am looking for a log to roll into a paper model, so for now its on hold, unless others have parts to share for this project! |
