ther are going to be updated instructions to include all the internal structure as soon as i can find a victim to create the 3d diagrams for me. As soon as they are done I will put them in the download section.

Thank you so much for such a beautiful model!

It would be nice to have a Reliant in the same scale, too...

That is a great idea! After watching Steve Neil working on a lighted Reliant for a customer, I really wish I had one.

Next part of the build is completeing the internals for the secondary hull. First pictures show the shuttle craft for the lift section and the completed part. Next set shows the actual shuttle deck and its craft. Once completed only the two shuttle deck parts should be joined as the cargo deck will be attached once the structure for the rear section is complete.

Next is the structure that goes into the secondary hull rear to hold the internal parts in position and provide the support necessary to hold the nacelle struts to avoid the dreaded nacelle droop in the final model. Once the structure is complete then the internals can be slid inside it and then the cargo hold can be glued onto the shuttle decks. The rear outer covering should now be rolled and glued ready to put together. Last picture shows how the internal structure holds the nacelle pylons.

Last part to build before gluing it all together is the entrance to the shuttle bay. This part is reinforced with 1mm card to provide the internal structure a hard point to join onto at the rear and ensure the parts line up. once complete and attached the base to the nacelles and the sunken doors should be attached to the rear hull part and then the internal structure can be slid inside the hull and glued to the shuttle entrance and on the outer ring of the hull.

To complete the secondary hull add the detail parts to the deflector dish and the name tags on either side. These names are printed direct to stickers and attach quickly and easily. Last picture shows the complete hull with the nacelle pylons in place but dont glue them yet. They will be attached once the main hull and nacelles are complete in order to align them properly with the entire model.

Next is the neck joint to the main hull and then the main hull itself.
