Really? I've never seen anyone do the Tram, that's why I thought it would be cool. Please, show your work, that way I can make sure that mine looks accurate and original and doesn't look like someone elses work.

I just went through my files and I can't believe I first started piddling with this one model in 04. I just recently ran across this after finally figuring the texturing thing out. Compare these shots with the previous ones. I'm not done yet, but it's going to be a cool model.

i got them. Thanks. i have converted it to 3DS and i am in the precess of pulling it apart into sections. there are alot of parts that have to be cut and or welded together to get a viable unfold. i will start a new thread for the ship when i get some progress done.

did a little tinkering with the 3d model and came to the conclusion that it is a mess and not viable for unfolding. there are to many holes and so many pieces that cross in to other parts of the mesh. so i am in the process of completely remodeling the entire ship using the original mesh as a guide. the original was something like 54k polys and i am going to try to cut that down to around 15-20k. so far i have gotten the saucer section completed, minus the bridge detail. i am also going to have to re-texture, the only ones i have are the specular and glow maps from the original i do not have any of the original textures. i will start a new thread as soon as i have further progress on the ship.

so i have a question, is the Bridge module really tiny or would it be the same size as the Constitution class since the details are pretty much the same?
