Did this ever go anywhere, or is it a dead project? It was looking so promising.

He was sending me pages and I was sending him notes. And then he stopped sending the pages. He eventually got someone else to do the Beta build, on Zealot, I think. But, that thread dried up after awhile. And I haven't heard from him.

Hi guys,

I think I have already mentioned it somewhere but to have clear picture I will post it here as well.

So what happened? Well TLDR - "life" happened.
But to be more specific here is a longer version:
When I was working on the BatWing, several other personal projects appeared (not related to paper models). Also from time to time I felt that I need a break from the whole BatWing project so I started working on Robot Jox and other smaller models.

Then two big (I mean really BIG) things happened - my daughter has been born and following that, we (me and my wife) realized that we need more space. So we have moved to a new apartment as well. Those of you, who have children know, that having a kid is full time job (especially if it is your first child). Toddler, renovation of the new apartment and regular work did not give me any free time.

There were some tries to get back, I have even created some 3D models for GreenStrawberry (if you have for example Star Wars plastic models from Bandai, I highly recommend to check GS's page - you can improve your models by a lot). But this cooperation ended because of lack of my free time.

Then COVID happened and despite the fact I am working from home right now, the time is still limiting factor.

So is this end? Hell, no!
I can see light at the end of the tunnel. If you try to check my page right now (spendlikpapermodels.com) you can see that it is under construction. It should be live in week or two with all the models that have been there before it went down. And it is not coincidence that it is down right now. The plan is to put the site up and than continue with BatWing and RobotJox. I know it has been a loooong wait but I would like to ask you for some more patience. Despite all the things, which happened in last couple of years, there hasn't been single time when I told myself that I won't finished the BatWing. That's why I was continuously paying for a hosting for the site and also for domains.

KCinKC46 - sorry for that, will come back to you as soon as possible.

This looks like quite the challenge. All those scalloped edges... If you can pull this off it's going to be one heck of a model.
