Scythe

Hey there,
As a big fan of doing papermodels and addicted player of the Warhammer 40k, I am trying to rebuild the Necron Scythe, which was made by MalikDrako.

I am going to post every step I am going to do and probably will need help from you from time to time, due to my inexperience in the paperworld. I have just built 3 Stormraven Gunships and one Landraider Crussader (both from Potoroch)

Now I am waiting for the files.
Cheers and stay tuned,
OcOj

So I have started with the papermodel and the first 6 pages are/will be easy to handle.
Still few problems occurred due to the fact that the card board should have a thickness of 1mm. I am always using card board from cereal boxes, so I had to glue to together to get 1.12mm. The problem is that it is not easy to cut (or as easy as it would be with just one layer) So I will see how I handle it in further steps.
Here are some pics:

First glueing three party pof the main body, without wasting to much card board

The complete main body with small holes for the skewness-part of the wings:

Fits perfect with the holes without adjustments:

Here is what I am troubling with: The parts are (due to my unclean cutting) not fitting perfectly. Do you know if there is something that I can put on it, so that it will look nicer?

The directions and the PDF are so far perfect and easy to understand. I will probably have trouble with the weapons and the tail and need further instructions for it.
So long,
OcOj

On mine, I used sandpaper and a file to get them even, then glued the edge to strengthen it and ensure it doesnt separate

Is this model available or are you doing a testbuild? I found the original thread but no mention of where to get the kit. I'm not familiar with Warhammer 40K, but this is a very cool ship and build.

It is a test build. The model will be released once this build is finished and I finish the instructions + any modifications from this build.
