The Raven

First off ladies and gents,im a long way from being a designer.I fact im a complete novice. That being said,I would like to draw the attention of the Star trek designers. All of the models that have been produced have been nothing short of outstanding, and I applaude the great work and thought that went into them.So here's the request.Has anyone ever condidered doing the Raven from Voyager? This was Seven of Nine's parents ship, just to clarafy. Its not a mainstream Star Trek ship, and the design I find quite interesting.Look at the photo, and see what you all think. Thanks in advance.

you might want to consider designing this yourself. choose a standard page size in paint, and do one piece at a time. you will love designing, and try a hako, low detail style at first, no one is going to critisize you for that. give it a try and step in the ring, its fun!!!

I agree it's a very interesting design. Unfortunately I don't have the time and energy to tackle it. I echo Spaceagent though - collect some reference material and give it a try. Even if you fail you will learn a lot. There's great tutorials available to help you get started.

Try this tutorial - http://recursiveinstruments.com/docu...r_tutorial.pdf

and there's an excellent intro to Metsequoia on Zealot, written by Jaybats.
