Glad you were able to rebuild. Due to an error by our IT guy (of course it happened right before he left early for his weekend), I lost all 'rights' to update my calendar and database entries last Friday. I can fully relate to the overwhelming desire to vent.

Putting the image with the profanity as a link is probably the way to go. I'm sure I vocalized something similar about my database Friday.

Jan, will you be doing this similar to the Sulaco release? As parts are finalized, will you release it in sections? With the level of this model, I'm afraid that at my skill level, the only way I could succeed with this is by doing it in parts

Jan: A quick message (at work :-0 ).

1.) Excellent work – looking superb thus far :-)
2.) I too am working on the Dropship (blueprints) and have noticed some of the same things (i.e. that weird diagonal bar at the back of the ramp)
You are totally correct when you tell us about the different shapes, sizes etc.
3.) You need a Roto-Dynamic Transaxle with the Direct-Drive In-Wheel Motor
4.) Shoot me an email at hydride-ion (at) live dot com when you have a chance and I would be happen to exchange thoughts & ideas, whatever you need
5.) When I released the Sulaco print in 2011, I did put a credit on there, I hope you don’t mind :-)

Best wishes
‘Space Jockey’

and what happend today....

different (perspective) view

after making this render...suddenly...AutoCad 2013 crashed again..I dont know if is the perspective mode or combination of more factors did this

AutoCad - Ending with failure
CRITICAL ERRROR: ---

System is searching for solution..

funny thing described earlier in this thread is here..and catched for you

When I´ve opened the drawing file (left side) everything looks normal..I can choose whatever I want.
But when I zoom in (Right side of the picture) the cannon entity disappeared.....even if i choose it...
the dotten line is everything what´s left....after recovery of this file , the cannon is completely gone.

and the weird and funny thing continues....the same ghost entity error is in both backup files

for non autocad experts..here is the legend:
DWG - drawing file - file with all my daily work at the APC
BAK - Backup file - it is drawing file saved one save earlier (if you save the drawing - DWG, then the earlier save DWG file is not owerwritten , but renamed into BAK)
sv$ - Autosave file (drawing saved by system in certain intervals) I have 2 minutes
________________________
lucky for me again and my daily drawing save. I´ve copied the cannon body entity from yesterday´s healty dwg file
...and i could make this videocapture of the cannon

looks pretty cool...
