That's really tiny or at least looks like it is. How did you get the lights, etc. to fit in there?

Looks great, lighting really adds another dimension to any model. It seems really bright in the picture, is it really super bright or is it just the photo? Do you know if there is a way to subdue the lighting effect?

they are bright. yes I know of a way, you can push press a silver plastic picnic plate for the globe. another way is to glue on colored tissue paper around the led or use a rubber filter. you can even paint over them. but I wanted to showcase the turquoise leds.

Thanks for the lighting info. Bright leds look really good for some applications, but I was wondering about dimming them down e.g. for the red lighting in a ship's pilot house. Tissue paper could work very well for that.

If you increase the value of the series resistor for the LED,it will reduce it's brightness.
You can also select a LED that is not as bright. All LEDs come in different intensities of brightness, rated in "candle power" (cp). Jim |

you want to be careful with pulling down the brightness with resistors. it will heat up the battery, throw a diode in there and maybe a heat sink. if you use cotton, or even hot glue to ''sock'' over the led itself, you can tone down the light without complications. colored plastic or frosted glass bead can also work.
