Well.... It's been a while, and although I've posted this on another thread, I thought I'd bring this thread back into circulation. This is my multi media model build of Jaybats S. I. D (Space Intruder Detector from Gerry Anderson's U. F. O) The body is the original design by Jaybat. Although I have a skin condition that has prevented card building, I built this part at speed and managed to get away with minor irritated skin. The rest of the model I used various thickness plastic sheet and styrene ball. I think she came out well. In the background you can see my upcoming Fireball model, this is my take on her, she is having some major alterations. She is on her last few stages to being given a coat of paint. I will post the results as soon as completed. In the meantime it's just great to be back to building stuff and to still be here on Paper Modelers Dot Com... The best place on the model building Network

Nicely done mate I'm trying to clear an area at home to be able to start modelling again so I feel some Anderson stuff might be in order. Love the stand mate !

Thank you my friend. I know you have been working hard to get your model building back on course, lots of work to get your building area how you need it. Time and health makes things difficult for you mate, but I know you will get there. Its good to get this slightly long thread of yours back up, I hope we can keep momentum and keep our childhood memories alive and kicking. This is everything Gerry Anderson gave us...what a guy.
