Well here's a little bit more work done. The Chrome Nozzle isn't glued in place yet, i want to get a YES or NO from you guys on that one - i like it, but if you think it's a tad too much then i'll go with the usual one supplied. The Stabilizers are filled with tissue paper - the simplest way to get a nice smooth form {could have made formers like on the last XL5 but thought why not go simple and see what happens} the shape is quite nice so i will go with that. I've not tidied anything up yet so still plenty to do. Working on some hull detail later.

Pete - looking real good . From what I can see of it, the chrome nozzle looks just fine. The tissue in the stabilisers seem to have worked a treat too. Looking forward to more pics soon.

Add another one to the score, mate. This looks fantastic. Tissue paper or kitchen roll works well in the bigger models without formers. I built one of FG's B-24's, and tissue kept the shape really well:D
Best wishes
Mick

I'm afraid I can't really see the chrome nozzel Mate, everything else looks up to your usual high standard so I'm sure the nozzel is too, hold it up next to your other Fireball and see which effect you prefer and go with that one but I would say that when finished and you need to take it through the fit checking movements with added sonic testing that a chrome nozzel will really give it that extra something.
