Cockpit looks amazing, it's this attention to detail that raises a model - great work.

Been away for a month or so, love the work and the detail. Its coming together nicely. For the smaller detail is it all paper or plastics painted?

Thanky you all for a nice worlds, much appreciated.
Frijj2001, it is mostly paper. And wires and wooden sticks for small round parts that are difficult to do from the paper and looks better. There will be no plastic at all except the canopy glass. Some more progress on the back. Nearly finished. It needs some touchups with the edge colouring. |

Definitely, Bandai will never be able to produce edge as sharp as cuted from paper with sharp blade . Thanky you folks
I compared to Bandai (their 1:72 scale is abut same size as my model) and I must say they have incredibly small details there, like bolts 0.1mm in diameter I have hard time to produce on my paper model in suficient quality. Luckily it is almost not seen by the eye, only on closeup photos . And I can say Bandai did perfect job to replicate all the greebles accurately. There are only a few places where they had to make compromises to made the model moldable . |
