Starfleet Travelpod diorama

Here are some pics of Rawen's Travelpod diorama that I finished today. As you can see, I wimped out on the clear window and interior but I still think it looks pretty good:-

Do you like the 'floating in space' effect?! :D You can just see how I achieved it here:-

More clearly in this shot I think:-

Here is the stand on it's own:-

I reinforced the back and base:-

Another view of the travelpod:-

More pictures on my website.

Thanks gents . Pete, I enlarged the original image slightly so as to fill an A4 sheet. This makes the base of my version two inches square.

LOL! :D I wouldn't bother looking for a thread if I were you mate - there isn't one! The Shuttle I'm working on at the moment is just the Fiddlers Green/Delta 7 one (Discovery). If that turns out ok I'd be tempted to build the stack for it too i.e. the external tank and solid rocket boosters. I was actually hoping that Gary's Liberator might be available before I started it so that I could give that a go. Never mind, I expect we've not got long to wait now :D.

I had a look at the model you're making and it doesn't look to be a bad kit to make, i didn't see any SRB'S or an EFT to go with it, but i found this
http://jleslie48.com/shuttle20/th/ i think you would be able to re-scale them to go with your shuttle which would finish up a nice build for you mate - On a Launchpad with an up-light in all four corners.... ummm
