Can anyone here convert X-wing: Alliance models?

Does anyone here have the capability to convert X-wing Alliance or XW:A Upgrade models to MQO format? I want to create a pl**tic () model of one of the asteroid bases, and I'd like a paper model as a maquette so I can see the final result. I know Sprintx on Zealot can convert models from either the game files or the XWAU models, so can someone convert this model for me, or at least show me where to get software that'll read those files and convert them to MQO format (y'know, teach a man to fish and all that jazz).

It's a long and difficult process, but with many years of training and patients, you will eventually learn the skills necessary to do what you ask.

Ok, it actually easy.

First go here and download the OPT to 3DS converter and use it on your model. The OPT files from XWA are the models all packaged up.

Then you open the resulting 3DS file in Metasequoia and save is as an MQO.

I've got a few files that I am working on that I want to make models from. I don't know if I'll ever release them because they aren't my designs, but I still want them on my shelf. They have some pretty nice looking models to start from.

Thanks a bunch! I knew there was a program for that, but I kept searching for an OPT to MQO converter, but I couldn't find any. I'll have to reinstall XWA, but other than that it'll be a breeze. Again, thanks! :D
