Perry's type 3 phaser rifle re-scale
I made Perry's phaser rifle awhile ago and thought it would be awesome to go full scale with it. Living on covid time with a four day weekend I finally decided to do it. I found some nice silver paper at Michael's. It is a little thin and shows some glue damage but really nice texture. Here are some pictures from the build.

Final pictures of the handles and finish. I added mounting plates to the hand grips because the models I found online had them and made them stronger. Here I am with my plague doctors mask ready for covid 19!

Great work and great idea!
This build looks amazing! Did you copy your patterns to share? Would love to build my own!

Sorry, I took the measurements for each piece and then used them to draw the scaled up parts one at a time. I should have scanned each part before I cut them.

Whaaaaa!
[baby sniffle].... Do you recall the percent of size increase necessary to make it full size?

When I Printed the model out for measurements I hit shrink to fit, the scale factor then was 336%. That was based on The length being 672 mm, a dimension I found online.
I later printed it out without shrinking to fit, at 100% and I found the scaling factor to be 306%. |
