Thanks for all the kudos, guys. I don't know where the inspiration came from, but I'm glad it did. It was fun to build. Yakov's white Vdub pickup is a blank canvas, and the possibilities are endless. I'm thinking a slammed, rear engined rat rod might be an interesting project.
A few years ago I restored and sold a 1969 vw beetle. I had a great time with my VW.
