Jan ... how was your initial build received when you put it on display? You had mentioned that you were bringing it to a convention.
I was.. The sulaco was displayed in wooded display case...the whole action was really well done, but we are small country and we have few aliens fans only...visit rate was weak....:(

the rest of my display...the samaritan and t2 hand isnt mine:p

The 40k drednought is From slovak friend ING.SPENDLIK
.....and the rest of the display...

and one really nice model from CRAP spain movie NEXUS (1993)where czech modellers maked the models of spacecrafts..really nice design

Sulaco was lightely damaged due to transportation, so the next and final place will be in my living room....hmmm ok I will take "her" to my ALIENSPAPERCRAFT CUP 2010 for last display...If u want to see her in real , you have a chance next year in Brno (Luzanky area)Czech republic
20-21.2.2010....(and there will be some bonus maybe)...see u there

Wow ... great displays!!!

I hope the damage wasn't too severe to the Sulaco's front end. I have noticed that you have finished two other projects it seems.

  • The Renovatio Boat
  • Pistol from Ultraviolet

...again, I'm always impressed with what you can do with paper/card.

Impressive!! I'm truly awaiting the full release of this one. I plan to start work on the Endorifle soon, and i'm still hoping to see the release of the Terminator Endoskeleton as well. There is, however, one build that I hope to see the most in the near future as far as the Alien Universe is concerned. I refer of course to...

THE ALIEN ITSELF!!!

Actually, there are two versions of the Alien I hope to build eventualy, the original creature from the original film, and the Queen from Aliens. The Queen would probably be the most detailed of the two. I look forward to the challenge of building these two models if and when they are released.

Alien99, what is the ship in the final picture of your post? I've never seen it before.

It´s a movie prop from real movie modeler. But the movie itself was real crap.
The czech side was involved into this project as decor (prop) section and there was some our actors...but the spain directing was really bad.

Nexus 2.431 (1994)

....more pictures of the model can be found in czech thread there are more pictures from the last event..

Nice T. Rex! Is it yours? There's a resin kit out there, but I'd much prefer a paper one.
