Thanks for the tip!
In a meantime, I found that my knowledge about the Arab architecture is less than basic. Collecting the models and creating my own after the photograph images, I learned much. For example, I never heard of wind towers, an ancient ventilation system, before...

And this is Dave Graffam's Watch Tower, slightly modified and glued to the landscape.
The ploughed fields were made of a corrugated cardboard sheet painted brown and covered with a sawdust. The original columns were replaced with matchsticks with the knee braces added. The hedge was made of 1,5 cm wide pom poms.

Further Arab buildings: a house with the shuksheika wind catcher on the roof (smaller equivalent of a wind tower); an old tomb of the saint; a round hut with a cone thatched roof containing sugar cane mill/press.

The biggest desert cityscape for my players is completed. I called it Shibaraz. Whole paper except few posts and z ladder made of sliced match sticks. Only the papyrus shots were made of ready modellers' self-sticking grass.
I used the CANON kit of simplified tall buildings made of adobe bricks and clay (after the real 16th century tall buildings - up to 11 storey - from Shibam, Yemen), "Casa Araba" model by some Italian designer, and the previously shared little houses and a wind tower made from scratch after the photo plus a sugar cane processing round hut (N57 by Sakamoto Sanda).

Far, far to the south on my map there lies a town of Belethir on the Big People and Elves Kingdom border. This is the house of the mixed couple (the parents of one of the players, an half-elf female druid), built on the right bank of the river, so on the Big People's side, but clearly Elven-influenced with its advanced techniques of construction and vivid coloured decoration: bluish wall beams and blue roof tiles, a sail-like extended roofs, a small turret, a round balcony and arched windows composed of the transparent glass sheets framed with the green ones.
