Its my hope to do dioramas with both the 50's version set in the US and the Tripod set in Blighty.I should point out that the 50's model although tricky does with a bit of care and in my case a lot of swearing build into a very good representation of the film version. If someone with talent was to look at it I'm sure it could be made into a more builder friendly kit,I did try but being of little brain I never got very far. This is a great subject and a brilliant base model to work with please someone take up the challenge.

Here is a picture I made up using a photo of the tripod model I built and an old picture of London.

if you only see thumbnails, then you need to change your viewing options to allow images (in your User CP) I have NO password protected galleries. I have about 6 Photo Albums here so far (one for each build or topic) A couple of those Albums are assorted things that are set to private. The Albums for my own models, general builds and specific build threads are all public.

Love to. As soon as I find out who designed it and send them a request to do so.

Thank you Scott!!!!:D:D:D:D
I 'thought' it was Pat's from the design style but there was n-o-t-h-i-n-g on or in the file to credit an author. I had sent an email to Pat's last known working address earlier today. Now we wait and see.

The Martian craft from Paramount's WotW movie also appeared later in another Paramount sci-fi cult classic, Robinson Crusoe on Mars. Hokey flik, but I loved it as a kid. I saw it when it was released at the Beacham Theatre in downtown Orlando, FL waaay back in 1964.
