1/200 T.I.E. Fighter
What did you do for Star Wars day?
Mon, May 4th, I needed some motivation to build something. Being the 4th of May (May the Fourth be with you) comments and Star Wars marathons gave me the inspiration. I took PRModels 1/250 Death Star battle kits, and resized them up to 1/200. Build was straight forward, a little clumsy on my part. I used a cardboard disc with the Empire emblem for the base, and a cotton swab tube for the stand. About 2 hours off and on to complete. It took longer to rescale them and print them than construction time! Just a couple of quick pics.

Sometimes a little inspiration is needed.
Nicely done, sir. I don't remember you using the phrase 'resized them up' before

Someday, you’re going to build a model in 1/24th scale, post photos and we’re not gonna believe you....
GREAT job, as always. You are indeed a master at this hobby. |
