I don't have any other sci-fi models from Alberto. Wish I had downloaded them though. I tried the wayback machine but none of his models made it into the archive. @Obiwand10 - Oops. I was mixing up my tie's there. You're quite right. And yeah, I love Alberto's models for the detail. They turn out beautifully. By the way, if anyone build's those Tie's, I haven't built the Interceptor yet myself, but I've been told that the cockpit (body?) of the Interceptor is much better than the body of the tie fighter, so if you plan on doing the TF it might be worth using the body of the TI. When I built mine I laminated all of the "wing" parts (including the detailing) to .5mm poster board for strength, depth, and to minimize warping. SJ |

You know, I bet you could pretty easily just switch out the Shunichi Makino tetrahedron I used for my Defender and just use the ball from your Interceptor. Cut work time down a lot, get a better look. Especially since the Defender actually has its own wing design (not just three Interceptor wings).
This is making me want give Jay's E-Wing a serious redesign. |
