The way Google is going, it will probably based in Android. This means you'll be able to find anything there. Look for Tron, you'll find 10,000 sponsored links at "Sark's Garage Sale" on ebay.

Apple would try for it, but the proprietary software they prefer would prevent them from ever allowing it to be seen in theatres. Someone might actually see it, you know.

Windows would crash halfway through, and then spend the rest of the film downloading "critical" updates to it's crapplets, then come out with a half-witted new version, followed by a series of commercial-sized patches, while Kim Komando would be telling you you can buy the whole version from her site.

hmmmm.... that does sound plausable... as far as a plot goes, I've seen a couple of movies in the last few weeks that sound just about like that.... well actually your plot sounds better.
