This is of course only the basic structure, there are many customized parts, that need to be added to it, to make it smoother...

This is because it´s a custom mod of the BOP. It was too hard to make them move, when they are in the original design, so i decided to make a radical change in the design... As i wrote above it was never intended to be a 100% accurate rebuild of the original, it´s just too hard to make...

consider the scale of 1/1000:

Wow, I didn't realize it was so small.

Have you considered using Clever's BoP to help with the texture?

Yes i thought about using external textures at least for the flat parts like the wings and the main parts of the fuselage, but i have only a black/white printer at home, so this is impossible for me.. for the other parts of the BOP it would be very, very difficault to use such textures for they are not flat, but all rounded, and applying textures to them would yeoperdize the work on making them round...:(

so i could use an existing black/white texture only for the flat parts (and paint it afterwards), but the differences to the parts where i would have to only paint would be obvious and the whole design would appear inconcusive...

But this is a problem i´m not facing for a long time! ...
Momentarily i wrap paper around the internal structure, using small parts to make it easier to fit to the "rounded" structure...
I also implemented an open shuttlebay for two small klingon shuttles (for two men)... You can imagine how small they have to be in 1/1000..., 1 metre in real is 1 millimetre in scale, so the shuttle, beeing 2,5 metres high and 4 metres long... i just have to add that the shuttle i build so far looks like a very small potato..................

Ok, it´s time for a little update on the progress...
The white circle shows the little 2-men-shuttlecraft :D

You can see the shuttlecraft in the very small shuttlebay, The shuttlebay is ~5 metres high and ~14 metres wide and reaches to the center of the BOP (~15 metres). It can store 2 shuttlecraft... you can see why...

Looks nice! It will be cool if you can post a picture from this ship in "wings up" position!

Here it is:

The maximum sweep is limited due to a construction flaw in part "4+" on the mastersheet...
