When building my model of an early 23rd century starship using a similar method I used a lot of drywall compound for this purpose

This is it!
I added the cloaking device and let it be like it is now, cause i have lots of things to do and i won´t have time for anything for quite a long time... Please tell me what you think, what i could have made better and so on-all critics will be appreciated! After all it´s my 3rd paper model and before i only built plastic models... (i´ll post all of my models at the end of this post) Here you see all my 3 works, built so far... First was the K´Tinga, a very, very simplified design... second was the fictional russian APC, and now the Bird of Prey... (the K´Tinga stands on its own, because i built in 2 2-euro-cent coins to hold back against the rest of the ship...) This was supposed to be a fictional russian 20´s infantry tank from a fictional dimension, where the russians won WWI and occupied Germany... But i never finished it... this was built about 4 years ago... Features: Rolling Wheels, Movable Turret... Last edited by Vorcha; 06-23-2010 at 02:28 PM. |

Very nicely done! You've come a long way with only 3 models under your belt. Can't wait to see what you do with the next three! :D

It looks good, but as someone who previously made the transition from plastic to paper, I just feel like mentioning that you can definitely rely on printed textures instead of painting everything.

When i plan or build new models i will clearly use pre-textures. |
