Optimus prime again...

Ok, If you fallowed the design thread of Optimus Prime you may notice that I had already started to build one a long time ago. However I had to leave it for a while, but now I wanted o pick it up again. Now that the model design is finished I was able to see what upgrades I could make to it so I started building it again, and I do mean again since I started the whole model from zero. I should mention that I will try to put even more detail if it's even possible.

I started to make the build thread in a blog, and since there are two other build threads of Prime already, I may continue doing it over there and posting the blog updates here so you guys can check it out, or if you want let me know to continue the updates here directly. The blog address is

I forgot to mention that I am building this Optimus Prime at half the original size. Should be Interesting. I can fit 3 to 4 pages on a single letter size paper, so I may save a little paper and space.

Excellent build so far. Just checked out your blog, and I am impressed! You're adding all the little details even though it's scaled down? Mad I say! But simply amazing.

That is fantastic,the extra details with the metallic paper really make an already amazing model even better.I can't wait to see this one finished.

Thank you for your kind words, The orange, my wife agrees with you about the mad part. Being a perfectionist does not go well with paper modeling.

Thank you Aven. I figured if I'm going to spend a lot of time building this amazing model I might as well make it as good as posible. I will also follow your build thread with great interest. Keep up the good work.
