I did 'suspect' the advice - it didn't make much sense. Of all glues I'd thought it was the right one.

I am using UHU universal glue and it´s not water based.
I think that this kind of glue works better for buildings than water based glue.

Thanks Tino. In fact when I started out in card many years ago UHU was my favoured glue.
I was always building ships and it had an interesting property in that you could use it's stringing properties to create some rigging.

This is a stunning build of one of the great 'modern' buildings.

I am visiting Barcelona in January as a birthday treat - this is top of my must see places.
