28mm Windmill model with playable interiors...

The complete post on this model is on the Fat Dragon boards but I know a few folks here like to see my gaming builds.

This model has 3 interior playable floors!

3rd floor:

2nd floor:

1st floor:

I modded a single millstone version for placespace

Most of it collapses for reduced storage (this is quickly becoming my trademark mod):

And a final beauty shot:

This is the Fat Dragon Games model Dragonshire: Windmill and Cottage (I didn't build the cottage yet.)

Very nice. Didn't realize it would pack away so nicely, or was it modified?

Remember! No candles in a mill! Especially a paper one.

Amazing graphics, and your build is impeccable. Great job!

Thanks everyone. These models are nowhere as sophisticated as many others on this forum - this one took probably about 4 hours in total - but that's one of the things I love about these kits - their relative simplicity and playability!

We were over at a gaming expo yesterday. Other than tokens and figure flats for armies, card was completely overlooked. To see the painstaking, yet lacking, work of some of the gamers on their terrain pieces and vehicles, it was hard to understand. One guy had a very crowded table of resin kits. I know he put a lot of work into it, but he'd have had a better presentation with Dave Graffam's buildings or any of the other fine contributions by other card artists.

You have to keep in mind that OldSchoolDM is the master of card terrain. Mine doesn't look nearly as good.

It's been used!

I finally got to use this model in my game. The adventure just finished. Here's a few shots...
