Even in N scale this is going to be a fairly big model, isn't it?

Yes the mill alone is going to be around 5 5/8" long.

Thumbs up The Red Mills

For the millrace I’m using some meat tray foam hotwired to different thickness. With a little experimenting I found that a staggered line of pin holes and flexing caused the foam to break leaving rough edges that looks like stone.
