Nuclear Plant 1:800

I guess this is architectural, or other things we do.
This is the free download version.
The big one 1:350 costs 22e and is VERY big. I doubt I will ever build it.
I found that the walls have to be reinforced with angle pieces to keep them straight.
Otherwise a pleasant and fairly easy model
regards Jim Bean

The name of the file to be downloaded is:

EPR-cardmodel-800-scale-lores.pdf

Google will find that. I don't remember where I actually got it.

Isn't Thomas Pleiner (the designer) registered on this forum?

The model itself looks very good!

Now you should do a cooling tower (hyperbolic paraboloid body of revolution) - that will test your skills.

Ah, yes, the real producer of greenhouse gas 'pollution.' Now that would make an interesting little design project. And, after that, the electrical distribution substation. The larger version has been on my to-do list for quite a while now.

The cooling tower that John mentions is available in plan view with the original plant here: KKW DWR 1300 MW 1:350 Siemens/KWU - ARCHITEKTUR - Kartonmodellbau-Online ? Archiv für den Kartonmodellbau ? www.papermodels.de

You can also see if Herr Pleiner still offers Lasercuts for this model here PLEINER MODELL-DETAILS

Looking forward to your report.

For anyone interested, through the incredible generosity of Herr Pleiner, the 1:350 scale version of the model can be downloaded here: download-mitgliedermodelle
