Thumbs up Very nice

These are very nice indeed, very pretty and quaint ! You have built them with lots of love thrown in... you can tell. These would brighten a dull and dreary room.

Peter,

Thanks, a little reminder of the old country.

Last windmill - Windhond

Here is the last windmill by Leon Schuijt called the Windhond. It came on 2 A3 sheets and was a bit more involved. The beams and post are made of wood left over from ship models.

All in all it was a fun time building all five. Now to decide what is next to build.

I do know the Windhond kit, it was one of my first paper models of a windmill, but I build it years ago, I haven't got it anymore.

It's nice to see it once again!

Hmmm, I think I may have built a pirated model. That one looks so much like one I built a long time ago, but the sails are different. Everything else looks the same. Odd.

Nice to see the happy family of windmills.

Thanks Jerry and Vermin_King.

Still have the Waaggebouw-Alkmaar and also Deventer by Schuijt to build, but they will have to wait.

First a quick build of the Holland Lop rabbit by Canon for a friend.

Holland Lop

The Holland Lop from Canon among the windmills.

Fun to build but now its time to get to something more serious.

I did that one for a friend and another friend swiped it. Time to build another.

Those little one-pagers from Canon are certainly popular.

It surprised me how well designed it was and how easy to put together. Really makes a good looking rabbit. Will try some of the other animals.

After my first attempt at an aircraft was a dismal failure, then a rounded car failed, I decided that doing some 'organic' shapes would help me, so I did a few of those. working with the curved shapes definitely helped me with curved surfaces on other projects. And they are kinda fun. And someone always wants them, so they don't clutter up your house.
