Thank you Tim!

For now I start to show a little of hard work and a piece of easy work.

The cutting of all the black areas dont have much to see but the result is very nice.

My, oh, my! All those little triangles. You have far more patience than I do.

Err? When I suggested cutting out all the black bits, I was joshing you a bit Tino. I never expected you to actually do it, but "Bravo that man".

There's no way I'd have the patience to do that on an oil rig, let alone the Eiffel Tower !! But as I said in my first post ... I have no desire to own a model of the Eiffel Tower, so I'll never be tempted to try it.

Sincere best wishes to you, and my heartfelt commiserations to your wife. Or do you sweep up the clippings yourself?

Johnny.

Oh No!

Hi Tino,

This build is beginning to look a lot like tank treads - only worse...,

Just curious, how thick is the card on this? I know you will lose some of the weight by cutting out the triangles, and I know that the design of the tower is to maximize strength, but do you expect any weakness? Will you have to do something to strengthen the material?

Wow lots of little slices, don't get finger cramps.
She is looking good.
A note on strength to VK as the scale size goes up or down the strength requirements of the material go up or down faster. thats how we can build out of paper/card. My guess is that card stock will be fine, maybe a double layer. What does Tino have to say?

In my case, I'd probably mess up and accidently cut too many of the cross-members ...
