That's a pretty nice little model. I find the whole tiny house thing intriguing. I came across a homemade tiny house on the way to Oak Mountain State Park in Alabama a couple of years ago. This one was made of 3 small prefab sheds (the type typically made by the Amish). There was a "large" central one with a barn roof, and two smaller ones attached to it to form an "L". It was built on a slope with a block foundation - looked like there may have even been a basement underneath. Matching shingles and siding tied the whole thing together. Nice lush lawn, beautiful shrubs, a small air conditioner in one of the windows. It was very attractive, and has to be the cheapest way to "build" a house.

Very cool link... I like the tiny houses. Maybe some day I'll get one...lol! It is not always possible to build a tiny house wherever you want to (because of local codes and restrictions), the way around that is the home is on wheels, and therefore "mobile". While the interior seems small, if you can find a good location in a temperate zone, most of your time would be spent outside. I wonder if the "porch" is big enough for a rocker?

I also like small houses and would love to build one one day.

I actually have plans for an award winning American design that I fell in love with.

Here in the "states", one might be better off getting a used airstream shell and customizing it. peace and tranquility, away from the masses, trends toward creativity! flat rooflines of a mini-house (especially A frames) could allow solar existence "off the grid".

Oh, yeah, thank you - that reminds me:
Some years ago I came across a book about that subject in German (Walker, Lester: Kleine Häuser; Geschichten, Skizzen, Baupläne. Köln : Könemann 2000. ISBN 3-8290-2410-X)
But it was originally published in the U.S.A.:
Lester Walker: Tiny Houses or How to Get Away From It All. - Woodstock/NY : The Overlook Press 1987. ISBN 0-8795-1271-7. (Several editions until 2011.)
It presented many types of small houses from the Pilgrim Fathers to Thoreau's Walden hut, and from the San Francisco desaster relief sheds to the futuristic (self sufficient & solar) mobile home, even some with plans to make paper models of the resp. buildings.
Kind regards,-
Papercaptain

Thanks for sharing this site. I've downloaded the model. If I knew what scale it was designed in I would find a model car to print tires for the insides to make it more 3D.

At6 - from their site you can get a feel for the original size of the house.

You can then work out the scale and rescale it to the scale you want.
