Manhattan
I would try to build some cities parts with colored paper. I start with Mahattan. A very schematic view.

That is cool. Is there any significance to the colors, or is that random? And could you use a few tiny ships at the piers?

Many thanks for your nice words and encouragements !!
Yale : colors have no particular significance. It is just an esthetic choice. Small ships could be a good idea, I will think about it ! |

Now why didn't I think of that? Beautiful, original artwork. What was your inspiration? Do you have any other cities in mind for this treatment, or will it be a one-of-a-kind?

Thanks Don. I think that I was inspire by some old and graphic posters (1930), with few colors. I have some other cities in mind, with different colors.

Pat,
Outstanding model, and idea. I agree with Miles...a perfect blend of craft and art. Would make an interesting wall hanging. This may inspire other models here. Thank you for posting your photos. |
