Blatna Castle
My current build is taking much longer that I expected, so I thought I'd send a few pictures from my "archive".
Blatna is a castle in Czech Republic, south west of Prague. We visited it in 2004 when we spent two weeks touring the Czech castles. I visited the castle shop in the hope of finding a kit. The person in the shop spoke almost no English, but I did find that the ABC magazine had published a kit and when we got home I found it was one of the many kits I had but forgotten about. I apologise for the quality of the pictures, they were taken with my first digital camera - a Sony that used the 4.5 floppy discs! Cheers Mike |

VK,
That's the advantage of living in London! We live about 20 minutes from St Pancras railway station. from there we can get a train to Paris or Brussels without changing trains. We've taken the train to Berlin, but that's almost 2 days with a stop over in Cologne. There are new trains from Paris that will get you to the South of France in just over 3 hours. We are about an hour from both the london airports - about three hours will get us to Moscow. Jordan is about 5 hours. One of the "big things" in London is the number of people under 25 who come from Australia and New Zealand. They take on temporary jobs, save as much of their salary and then "do" Europe. Some spend weekends abroad others will do an organised trip - eight countries in two weeks! |

Thanks for the pictures, the colours are much closer to the ABC kit.
I guess the "landscape" is your work - very clever! Cheers Mike |
