Brings back memories of being a little kid and thinking those diners are big then going back as an adult and realizing how small they are.

Some really good food to be had in those diners. I always attributed it to the age of the grease in the fryers and the patina on the grill.

Dear zeawolves77:
Would you like photos of existing Diners here in the US for reference I do drive by some and taking photos is no problem to do several views?
I would like to try making your dinner also. I can PM you my E-mail adress.
Thanks,
Miles

I can't make up my mind if the windows need to be populated with characters from American Graffiti or Happy Days, but whatever, I guess the Fonz will always win, eh?

Reminds me a bit of Pretville - a South African musical (recent) but set in the 50's .

Pretville still exists - they basically did up a small town a bit and then left it. Leastwise I assume it still does!

They are stll many buldings a la '50's in South Africa - in all the small toiwns or dorps.

Have a look at the video here (nice catchy song by the way) which shows Pretville - all the businesses are real ones, current and operating. Noe the buildings as well - most of which are originals with little alternations done.

Enjoy!!!!

@Miles, thank you for the offer. I will gladly accept the picture if you have them. Kudos.

Give me some time to tidy up the design, I'll notify you via PM once it's avail and will mail to you, sorry for the late response it's been a hectic week.
