Thanks Marco, still don't know how you do it with the Zara. My fingers are too big for that scale.

I've found another (last) relict of the former complete ensemble
and took some pictures of it today. Rather demolished and you can clearly recognize missing chimneys and damaged decorative figuration .... AND I had to face problems with depth of field using a 300-mm lens with indoor photography ... :-) So three pictures of that (now 31 years old) beauty is more than enough ... Cheers Thomas |

Hi Marco,
Glad you'll be following. Thomas, Even after 31 years, the model is still a beauty. Should be able to do quite a bit of building this weekend with the 4th July Holiday. Regards, Fred |

Thomas, still looks good!
And Fred, some inspiration took get you fired up. I am looking forward to the build - I always wanted to do this, but could not find it (except at the odd ridiculous price).

Here's more of the build of the first group of houses. The first 4 photos show how most of the houses are built and the parts involved. The only thing I added to the house was a cardboard base plate to keep the shape of the house. This was glued inside the base. The other photos show the houses being assembled. There a quite a lot of them. Did not realize I have over 100 photos already and have just started with the build. Will cut down in future.
